Concrete Leveling

Concrete Leveling & Lifting

MDH is an authorized dealer of one of the easiest, fastest-acting, and most effective concrete lifting and leveling methods in the United States. Our friends at Supportworks manufacture an injectable polyurethane foam called PolyLevelⓇ. This state-of-the-art application is applied beneath sunken slabs to lift them back to their original position or close to it, reducing trip hazards and restoring your curb appeal.

PolyLevel Application Process

When you call MDH for concrete leveling services in Alabama or parts of Mississippi and Florida, we’ll start by evaluating the affected slabs to make sure PolyLevel is a good fit. Slabs that are sinking and have one or a few large cracks will typically respond well to PolyLevel treatment, but if the concrete is too deteriorated, it may have to be replaced. Once we’ve found that the concrete in question is a good fit for our leveling services, we’ll schedule a time with you and get to work.

If you answered yes to any of these questions your concrete could be unlevel. MDH has all the tools to raise it instead of replace it, Contact us!

When we show up on the day of your appointment, our team will begin by drilling small, dime-sized holes in the slab or slabs we’re trying to raise.

From there we’ll add small injection ports and begin pumping PolyLevel beneath the surface of the slab. PolyLevel will quickly begin to expand, filling the empty spaces under the slab where soil has washed out or compacted.

Once all the spaces have been filled, the product will begin to press against the underside of your concrete, pushing the slab upwards and back to its original position. Our team will monitor the progress to ensure the slab raises evenly and effectively, and once they’re satisfied the concrete is as level as possible, they’ll stop injecting the solution.

From there, we’ll remove the injection ports, fill the holes we made and be on our way! PolyLevel cures in as little as 30 minutes, so your driveway, patio, pool deck, or other slab will be ready for use the same day work is finished!

Alternatives to PolyLevel

Aside from PolyLevel, MDH also provides mudjacking and full concrete replacement services. Mudjacking, like PolyLevel, injects a solution underneath the slab to help raise it into place. Instead of a polyurethane foam, mudjacking uses a mixture of cement and other materials to provide added support below your sinking slab.

If the slab in question is sinking or cracked beyond repair, our team can remove the broken concrete and replace it entirely. An inspection by our team will help us determine whether PolyLevel, mudjacking, or full concrete replacement is the right choice for your home.
